This medication is used to control nausea and vomiting in pregnant women that do not respond to conservative treatment.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication should be taken on an empty stomach with water. It should be swallowed whole. It should not be crushed, cut, or chewed. Initial dose: Take 2 tablets once before bedtime on the first day. If symptoms are adequately controlled the next day, continue taking 2 tablets once before bedtime. If symptoms persist until the afternoon of the second day, take 2 tablets before bedtime that evening and 3 tablets the following day (1 tablet in the morning and 2 tablets before bedtime).

Precautions

This medication should not be used by certain patients. Individuals allergic to this medication or its ingredients, those with a risk of asthma attacks, patients with elevated intraocular pressure due to glaucoma, individuals with peptic ulcers or narrowed digestive tracts, patients with blocked bladders or urinary tracts, and those taking certain antidepressants or antibiotics should not take this medication. Patients who are pregnant or have liver or kidney function issues should take this medication cautiously. Additionally, caution is necessary when taking drugs that depress the central nervous system, such as alcohol or sedatives. This medication can cause drowsiness, so caution is needed when engaging in activities requiring focus, such as driving or operating machinery. Taking this medication with alcohol may increase drowsiness and heighten the risk of accidents. Taking this medication with food may reduce its effectiveness, so it is recommended to take it on an empty stomach with water. This medication may cause a variety of side effects, including nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, headaches, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, itching, rashes, anxiety, and insomnia. If severe symptoms or allergic reactions occur, medical advice should be sought immediately. This medication has not been reported to pose risks to the fetus during pregnancy; however, caution is particularly advised in the early stages of pregnancy. It is recommended to discontinue the use of this medication while breastfeeding, as its components can pass into breast milk and potentially cause sedative effects or hypersensitivity reactions in infants. Safety for children under 18 years of age has not been established, and there is a risk of serious side effects and death from overdose, so it should not be administered to children.
