It also helps in recovery through disinfection after oral surgery or tooth extraction and alleviates bad breath symptoms. Therefore, it is used to improve inflammation and infection in the mouth and to maintain oral health.

Precautions

This medication is a throat spray liquid, primarily containing povidone iodine. People who should not use this medication include those allergic to this medication or its ingredients, individuals with thyroid dysfunction, children under 6 years of age, and those receiving radioactive iodine therapy or around the time of such treatment. Additionally, individuals with severe oral ulcers, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers must consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. This medication contains an ingredient called propylene glycol, so individuals allergic or sensitive to this substance should use it with caution. If skin rashes or severe allergic reactions, oral irritation or sores, nausea, etc., appear during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. Moreover, skin dermatitis, angioedema, pneumonia, and thyroid dysfunction symptoms may occur rarely, so if these symptoms appear, consult medical personnel immediately. This medication must be used according to the specified dosage and method, and supervision by a guardian is required when used by children. It should only be applied to the oral cavity, and vigorous rinsing should be avoided until bleeding has stopped after tooth extraction. Heat should not be applied before use, and transferring the contents to another container should be avoided as it may cause accidents or degradation in quality.
