View approved original text

Chronic persistent hepatitis refers to a condition where SGPT (ALT) levels are continuously elevated due to abnormal liver function. This disease is accompanied by inflammation and damage to the liver, and medications are used to improve this condition. Therefore, drugs used for chronic persistent hepatitis help protect liver function, alleviate inflammation, and treat liver damage. These treatments are used to improve liver health and prevent further deterioration.

It is essential to adhere to prescribed dosages and administration methods, and if there is no improvement in symptoms or abnormal symptoms arise after taking it for up to 8 weeks, the medication should be stopped immediately and a healthcare provider or pharmacist should be consulted. It is important to store this medication in a safe place out of reach of children. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should refrain from taking this medication, as harmful effects on the fetus have been reported. Lastly, when taken with oral diabetes medications, this medication may enhance the effects of the diabetes drugs, so it is crucial to consult medical professionals before use if such medications are being taken.
