Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal skin infections as it may worsen symptoms. Patients with hypersensitivity to this medication or those who have previously experienced allergic reactions should not use it. Care should be taken in patients with a perforated eardrum or significant skin damage as healing may be delayed. It is advisable not to use this medication in patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea. Patients who are allergic to aminoglycoside antibiotics should avoid this medication as cross-allergy may occur. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, and children should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. If any unusual reactions such as symptoms of skin infection, irritation, rash, itching, or swelling occur during use, stop using immediately and consult a professional. Prolonged use may cause side effects such as skin atrophy, pigment changes, and acne-like symptoms, so caution is needed. Using over extensive areas or for long periods under occlusive dressings may lead to systemic side effects; regular check-ups are required. When used around the eyes, caution is advised due to the risk of increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma, and it should not be used directly in the eyes. Children may absorb more drug relative to their body surface area, increasing the risk of side effects, so the minimum dosage should be used under parental supervision. This medication must be used strictly according to the prescribed dosage and frequency, and it is advisable to stop as soon as symptoms improve. The risk of infection increases with the use of occlusive dressings, so it must be used according to a doctor's instructions. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in its original container to maintain quality.
