How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and above and adults: Take 1 sachet three times a day. The dosing interval should be at least 4 hours apart.

Child dose

Ages 11 to under 15: Take 2/3 sachet three times a day. Ages 8 to under 11: Take 1/2 sachet three times a day. Ages 5 to under 8:

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by patients undergoing dialysis treatment. Additionally, it should never be used in infants under three months old, and for children over three months but less than one year old, the decision about its use must be made after consulting a physician. This product contains lactose, so individuals with congenital disorders that prevent lactose digestion should avoid using it. During the use of this medication, it is important not to take it concurrently with tetracycline antibiotics. Individuals with allergies, those taking other medications, people with low phosphate levels, patients with high blood pressure, the elderly, patients with heart or kidney disease, those with edema, and anyone currently under a physician's care should consult a specialist before taking this medication. If constipation or diarrhea occurs during use, or if symptoms do not improve after taking the medication for more than two weeks, stop taking it immediately and consult a specialist. If symptoms such as decreased urine output, swelling of the face or extremities, drooping eyelids, stiffness in the hands, elevated blood pressure, or headaches occur while taking this medication, stop using it and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Long-term use may lead to symptoms such as hypokalemia, elevated blood pressure, fluid retention, swelling, and weight gain, so blood potassium levels should be checked periodically, and if abnormalities are found, use should be discontinued. Symptoms such as muscle weakness, trembling, or paralysis may occur due to hypokalemia, so if these symptoms appear, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a specialist. Caution is advised when taking potassium-containing preparations, licorice, loop diuretics, or thiazide diuretics as these side effects may be more pronounced. Follow the prescribed dosage and regimen carefully, and when children are taking it, supervision by a guardian is required. Those on a sodium-restricted diet should consult a specialist before taking this medication.
