Improvement of blood pressure control in essential hypertension
Used in patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled by monotherapy with amlodipine or olmesartan medoxomil. The combination therapy of these two drugs can enhance blood pressure control effects, helping to lower blood pressure more effectively and improve the risk of cardiovascular complications. By managing blood pressure stably, it improves the overall health status of patients.
This medication is taken once daily, one tablet, regardless of meals, with water. It is recommended to take it at the same time daily (e.g., in the morning). The recommended dosages are as follows: - 5/20 mg: For patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with monotherapy of amlodipine 5 mg or olmesartan medoxomil 20 mg. - 10/20 mg: Administered to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with olmesartan medoxomil 20 mg alone.
