Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal skin infections, as it may worsen the symptoms. It should also not be used by patients who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or its components. Patients with eczema of the external ear with a perforated eardrum or with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite should avoid using this medication as it may delay skin healing. It is also advisable for patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, and rosacea to refrain from using this medication. Those with specific allergies to antibiotics should be cautious, as this medication may also provoke allergic reactions. Patients who are allergic to or sensitive to propylene glycol should use this medication with caution. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, and children or minors should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. If any unusual symptoms such as infections, irritation, itching, rashes, redness, dry skin, or worsening wounds occur on the skin, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Long-term use may cause side effects such as thinning of the skin or dilation of blood vessels, so the amount should be reduced or stopped. This medication contains steroid components and excessive use may cause systemic hormonal imbalances, so the prescribed directions and dosages must be followed strictly. In particular, children or minors should use the minimum amount under adult supervision due to higher risk of side effects from increased drug absorption relative to body surface area. Using methods like occlusive dressings for extensive or long-term use increases the risk of systemic side effects; hence it should be done under medical guidance. Long-term use of this medication may lead to decreased kidney function or hearing loss, so caution is needed. Pregnant women should not use this medication in large amounts or for prolonged periods, only if the therapeutic benefit outweighs the risks. Nursing mothers should be cautious as this medication may affect the baby through breast milk. If vision blurriness or visual disturbances occur while using this medication, it is advisable to seek immediate attention from an ophthalmologist. When treatment is complete, discontinue the use of the medication as soon as possible, and if symptoms do not improve or worsen, stop using it. This medication should not be used for ophthalmic purposes or for non-therapeutic uses such as after makeup or shaving. Keep out of reach of children and store in the original sealed container.
