How to take

Adult dose

Adults: Take 1 tablet once daily

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, or those suffering from kidney diseases. Additionally, patients who have allergic reactions to any of the components contained in this medication, infants under 12 months old, and those with kidney stones should refrain from taking this medication. While taking this medication, it is advised to avoid simultaneous use of medications such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline preparations, and antacids. Women receiving medical treatment, those who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, premature infants, and young children should always consult a medical professional before taking this medication. Patients with gastrointestinal diseases such as peptic ulcers, chronic ulcerative colitis, or localized colitis, as well as those with heart or circulatory disorders, kidney issues, hypoalbuminemia, or a history of kidney stones should also seek consultation prior to taking this medication. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, skin rash, hair loss, gastrointestinal disturbances, hypotension, or pulmonary edema occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and seek professional advice. If the menstrual cycle becomes quicker or bleeding persists for a long duration, discontinue use and consult a professional. Women taking oral contraceptives containing estrogen or patients with a tendency for thrombosis may face an increased risk of thrombosis when taking this medication. High doses may result in gastrointestinal symptoms, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema, so caution is advised. In particular, care must be taken when taken in conjunction with antialdosterone drugs or triamterene as the risk of hyperkalemia may increase. If an overdose occurs, or if symptoms do not improve after one month of use, seek professional advice immediately. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed method and dosage, and it is recommended to discuss with a doctor or pharmacist during the course of treatment. Furthermore, it is advisable to avoid teas containing tannins, such as green or black tea, before and after taking this medication.
