The vitamin D contained in this medicine helps improve bone and dental growth defects and prevents rickets. Additionally, calcium is an important mineral in the body, and appropriate supplementation is necessary in case of calcium deficiency. Therefore, this medicine is used to maintain bone health and improve growth disorders through the supplementation of vitamin D and calcium.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 1 tablet once a day.

Child dose

Children aged 8 years and older take 1 tablet once a day.

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, an unknown systemic inflammatory disease, or those with kidney disease. Additionally, individuals allergic or hypersensitive to the ingredients in this medicine, infants under 12 months, patients with kidney stones, and those with severe renal failure should also avoid it. It is advisable not to take this medicine with phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, antacids, and other drugs during use. Children receiving treatment or getting ample sunlight while having a normal diet, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, breastfeeding individuals, premature infants, and infants must consult a specialist before taking this medicine. Those with heart or circulatory system issues, kidney disorders, or hypoalbuminemia, patients taking cardiac glycosides, or those with a history of kidney stones should also consult a specialist before taking it. This medicine contains a dye called Tartrazine, and those allergic or hypersensitive to this component should take precautions. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, hypotension, facial flushing, irregular heartbeats, or skin rashes occur during use, stop taking the medicine immediately and consult a specialist. Overdose may result in gastrointestinal disturbances, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema, so caution is required. Long-term use may lead to hypercalcemia or stone disease, necessitating regular condition checks. Particularly, caution is necessary when taken with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene due to the risk of hyperkalemia. If too much of the medicine is taken or if symptoms do not improve after a month, consult a specialist immediately. Always adhere to the specified dosage and usage; parental supervision is necessary when giving it to children. It is also advisable to avoid tea containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, before and after taking it. Keep this medicine out of reach of children and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. It is important to avoid transferring it to other containers to maintain quality.
