Topical treatment effect for plaque psoriasis (including scalp)
This medication is used for the treatment of moderate to severe scalp psoriasis and plaque psoriasis. The ointment is applied directly to the area of plaque psoriasis to improve symptoms, while the gel is effectively used on the scalp and other areas of plaque psoriasis in adults. It is important to select the formulation that best suits the patient for continuous management. This medication helps alleviate skin symptoms caused by psoriasis and maintain a healthier skin condition.
Apply an adequate amount to the affected area once a day. The recommended treatment duration is 4 weeks, and after this period, treatment can be repeated under the supervision of a physician. The maximum dosage is not to exceed 15g per day or 100g per week. The treatment area should not exceed 30% of the body surface area. For the gel formulation, it is recommended to use for 4 weeks on the scalp and 8 weeks on other areas of plaque psoriasis. For scalp application, the recommended dose is between 1g to 4g per day.

It is advisable not to use this medication in conjunction with other corticosteroids or products containing salicylic acid.
