View approved original text

Amlodipine or Olmesartan Medoxomil is used for patients with essential hypertension and is utilized to enhance therapeutic effects when blood pressure is not adequately controlled by monotherapy. These medications lower blood pressure by dilating blood vessels and reducing cardiovascular burden, thereby decreasing the risk of complications. As such, they assist in the management of essential hypertension and blood pressure control, contributing to the improvement of patient health.
