This medication is used to improve constipation. It also helps relieve symptoms caused by constipation, such as loss of appetite, abdominal bloating, abnormal fermentation in the intestines, and hemorrhoids. Therefore, it is effective in improving constipation and the various uncomfortable symptoms caused by it.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults (15 years and older) should take 1-3 tablets once a day at bedtime (on an empty stomach). However, the initial dose should be the minimum amount, adjusting gradually based on the shape and condition of the stool.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals with acute abdominal conditions or those with intestinal obstruction. When taking this medication, it should not be taken within 1 hour after consuming antacids or milk. Additionally, this medication contains lactose and should not be taken by individuals with genetic problems that prevent the breakdown of lactose. Individuals with severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, those taking other medications, individuals with allergic tendencies, those restricting sodium intake, or those with rectal bleeding or impaired intestinal function should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If skin rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occurs while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. If abdominal discomfort or cramps occur or if constipation does not improve after approximately 1 week of use, discontinuation and consultation are advised. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and duration, and children under 10 years old should avoid it unless specifically necessary. Do not chew the tablets; swallow them whole, and do not use continuously for more than 1 week, as prolonged use may lead to tolerance and worsen constipation. If daily laxative use is necessary, it is important to investigate the cause of constipation. This medication should be kept out of the reach of children and stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight in a sealed container. Furthermore, to prevent misuse and maintain quality, it is advisable not to transfer it to another container.
