Relief of pain related to muscle tension, including neuralgia and myalgia
This medication is used for various conditions accompanied by abnormal muscle tension, such as neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia, low back pain (lumbar pain), sprain pain, shoulder pain (shoulder stiffness), muscle cramps, and muscle rigidity.
Adults: Take 2 tablets per dose, up to 4 times a day. Avoid taking on an empty stomach.
Patients who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication, as there is a risk of liver damage. Patients with known allergies to chlorzoxazone or acetaminophen should not take this medication as serious side effects may occur if they are hypersensitive to these ingredients. This medication contains acetaminophen, and taking it alongside other medications that also contain acetaminophen may exceed the maximum daily dose, leading to liver damage. Therefore, do not take it with other acetaminophen products. People with severe liver or kidney diseases, a history of allergies, and women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Its safety has not been established during pregnancy, so the benefits and risks should be carefully considered. If symptoms of allergy such as hives, skin redness, or itching occur during use, discontinue the use immediately. Rarely, serious allergic reactions such as skin rash, bleeding spots, changes in urine color, severe swelling, or anaphylaxis may occur. Due to the chlorzoxazone ingredient, this medication can cause liver dysfunction. If any liver dysfunction occurs, discontinue the use immediately. Gastrointestinal disturbances or gastrointestinal bleeding may occur rarely during use, so caution is advised, and central nervous system symptoms such as drowsiness, dizziness, headache, fatigue, and excessive excitement may also occur. Taking this medication with alcohol or central nervous system depressants can cause interactions, so careful judgment is required when taken together. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children and kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To maintain quality, it is advisable not to transfer it to another container.
