1. For hemostasis and improvement of symptoms in gastric and duodenal ulcers and erosive gastritis, as well as improvement of symptoms in gastroesophageal reflux disease: Sodium alginate, usually 1 to 3g (approximately 20 to 60mL) is administered orally on an empty stomach 3 to 4 times a day. If oral administration is not possible, it is administered via nasal tube (sonde). 2. For hemostasis during gastric biopsy bleeding: This medication is usually administered 0.5 to 1.5g (approximately 10 to 30mL) endoscopically and 1.5g (approximately 30mL) orally.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

1. For hemostasis and improvement of symptoms in gastric and duodenal ulcers and erosive gastritis, as well as improvement of symptoms in gastroesophageal reflux disease: Sodium alginate, usually 1 to 3g (approximately 20 to 60mL) is administered orally on an empty stomach 3 to 4 times a day.
