This medication helps improve symptoms of stomach and duodenal ulcers and gastritis. It also regulates gastric acid secretion to alleviate discomforts caused by excessive gastric acid, such as heartburn and regurgitation. It is effective for gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. This improves overall gastrointestinal health. It is used for alleviating various symptoms related to the stomach.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 1 g three times a day after meals, 30 minutes to 1 hour after eating. May take one additional dose at bedtime if needed.

Child dose

Children over 12 years old should take 1 g three times a day after meals, 30 minutes to 1 hour after eating, and may take one additional dose at bedtime if needed.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by anyone who is allergic to this medication or its components. Furthermore, it is not safe for patients with Alzheimer's disease, hemorrhoids, fluid retention in the body with swelling, preeclampsia, diarrhea, or those suspected of gastrointestinal bleeding. It is advisable not to take this medication with drugs that can interfere with absorption, such as tetracycline antibiotics. If other medications are being taken, consult a doctor or pharmacist as this medication may affect drug absorption or elimination. Particularly, individuals with kidney issues, those on a low-phosphorus diet, those with malabsorption disorders, the elderly, those with symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a healthcare professional before use. If constipation or diarrhea occurs while taking this medication, or if symptoms do not improve after 2 weeks, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Additionally, it is advisable to store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
