How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 16 and older, 1 tablet (75 mg) may be taken, up to 2 tablets (150 mg) per day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who have had an allergic reaction to any of its components. If you have difficulty swallowing food or experience pain when swallowing, or if you vomit blood or have blood in your stools, you must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If heartburn symptoms persist for more than three months or occur with dizziness, cold sweat, or lightheadedness, you should also consult a specialist. If you experience chest or shoulder pain and difficulty breathing, or frequent chest pain, a medical evaluation is necessary before using this medication. If you experience unexpected weight loss, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain, consult a doctor immediately. If you are taking specific medications such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, you should consult a specialist as this medication may affect the efficacy or side effects of those drugs. Patients with kidney or liver dysfunction, the elderly, pregnant women, or breastfeeding women should consult a healthcare provider before taking this medication. This medication may interact with other drugs, so if you are taking any medications, inform your doctor or pharmacist and check if any adjustments are necessary. If your symptoms do not improve or worsen while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a specialist. Do not take this medication for more than 14 days, and if you experience severe allergic reactions or unusual symptoms affecting blood, liver, kidneys, gastrointestinal, or neurological systems, discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider immediately. This medication may mask the symptoms of stomach cancer, so it should only be used temporarily for symptom relief. When taken with high doses of sucralfate, the absorption of this medication may be reduced; it is better to take them at least 2 hours apart. Overdose may require appropriate treatment such as vomiting or gastric lavage, and in some cases, blood dialysis may be necessary to remove the medication. Do not take it with alcoholic beverages, and if there are any changes in your physical condition after taking it, consult a specialist immediately. Elderly patients or those with chronic lung disease, diabetes, or weakened immunity should be cautious as the risk of pneumonia may increase with this medication. False-positive results may occur in urine tests; therefore, inform healthcare providers if you are taking this medication during testing. Keep this medication out of the reach of children, and store medicines in their original container to maintain quality.
