Adult administration

In severe cases, administer 600-1200mg daily via intramuscular injection or slow intravenous infusion. For treatments extending over several days or in mild cases, administer 300-600mg daily via intramuscular injection or slow intravenous infusion.

This medication may rarely cause severe allergic reactions, such as anaphylaxis, thus the patient's condition should be closely monitored during administration. If the patient becomes pale, experiences a drop in blood pressure, or shows any abnormal pulse rate, use should be discontinued immediately. Moreover, if allergic reactions such as skin rash appear, administration should also be stopped. Gastrointestinal disturbances may rarely include decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain, so these symptoms should be reported if they occur. This medication is provided as a vial formulation and must be used immediately after dissolution, making quick preparation essential during dispensing. When administered as an intramuscular injection, care should be taken to avoid nerves and blood vessels, and if multiple injections are needed, the injection site should be alternated. Extra caution is required when administering to children and infants. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of reach of children and kept tightly closed in its original container. Transferring to another container may compromise the medication's quality or pose a risk of misuse, so it is imperative to maintain the original packaging.
