Patients with very poor liver function and those with severely low blood pressure may also be at risk if they take this drug. This medication should be used cautiously in patients with very poor kidney function or those requiring dialysis, elderly patients, those with acute heart failure, patients in a hypertensive crisis, and patients with mildly to moderately compromised liver function. As various side effects may occur when taking this medication, the most common side effects include facial flushing or sensation of warmth, fatigue, swelling, palpitations, dizziness, headache, heartburn, nausea, and even drowsiness or ankle swelling. Abruptly discontinuing this medication may worsen symptoms, so do not stop taking it without a doctor's guidance and decrease the dosage gradually. Patients with compromised liver function may experience slowed breakdown of this medication in the body and require dosage adjustment, with careful monitoring of blood pressure and condition after administration. If pregnant or nursing, as the safety of this medication is not established, it is better to avoid its use, and particularly during nursing, breastfeeding should be stopped. In children, its use is recommended only for those 6 years and older, as its efficacy and safety are not established for younger children. Elderly patients may experience higher concentrations of the medication in their body and prolonged action time; therefore, they should start with a low dose and closely monitor their condition during administration. In cases of overdose, severe blood pressure drops, heart rhythm disturbances, and decreased consciousness may occur, necessitating immediate visit to a medical institution for proper treatment. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of the reach of children, and transferring it to other containers should be avoided to prevent quality degradation and risk of accidents.
