Precautions

This medication should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist if the patient regularly consumes more than three drinks daily, as it may cause liver damage. Since this medication contains acetaminophen, taking it with other acetaminophen products runs the risk of exceeding the maximum daily dose and causing liver damage, thus it should not be taken concurrently with other acetaminophen-containing products. This medication should not be taken by individuals with specific allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to acetaminophen, and those who have experienced asthma symptoms from this or similar medications. Additionally, patients with lactose intolerance or specific genetic metabolic disorders should avoid this medication due to the lactose content. Individuals with severe liver or kidney disease or a history of drug allergies should use this medication with caution and consult a physician. If symptoms of hypersensitivity such as hives, itching, or redness occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult medical staff. Rarely, side effects such as liver dysfunction, gastrointestinal bleeding, drowsiness, or dizziness may occur. If swelling of the face or lips, breathing difficulties, severe rashes, or asthma symptoms develop after taking the medication, discontinue use immediately and inform medical personnel. This medication may increase liver toxicity risks when taken with barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, or alcohol, so caution is advised when taking them together. Pregnant women should only take this medication if the therapeutic benefits are deemed to outweigh the risks, as the safety of this medication is not well established. Finally, this medication should be stored out of reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and kept in a cool, dry place, sealed tightly, and should not be transferred to other containers.
