Precautions

This medication may cause liver damage in individuals who consume alcohol regularly, more than three times a day, so it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medication contains acetaminophen, which, when taken concurrently with other medications containing acetaminophen, may lead to liver damage; therefore, care must be taken not to exceed the daily maximum dosage. Individuals who have had allergic reactions to this medication or who are hypersensitive to acetaminophen, as well as those who have shown asthma symptoms after taking this medication or similar medications, should not take it. If symptoms such as hives, swelling of the face or lips, chest tightness, cold sweat, or shortness of breath occur during use, the medication should be discontinued immediately and medical advice should be sought. Additionally, if high fever accompanies a skin rash or blisters, or asthma symptoms emerge, the medication should be stopped immediately and a doctor should be consulted. Caution is needed when taking this medication alongside barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, or alcohol as acetaminophen metabolism may slow down, placing additional strain on the liver. Patients with severe liver or kidney diseases, or a history of drug allergies, should use this medication with caution. Rarely, serious allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching, petechiae, angioedema, or anaphylaxis may occur, so if symptoms appear, the medication should be discontinued immediately. If signs of liver dysfunction appear, the medication should be stopped, and medical advice should be sought. Gastrointestinal disturbances, bleeding, drowsiness, dizziness, and headaches may occur infrequently as side effects. Pregnant women or women of childbearing potential should only use this medication when the benefits of treatment are judged to be greater than the risks, as its safety has not been established. This medication may have interactions that can worsen side effects when taken with alcohol or central nervous system depressants, so caution is necessary. Store out of reach of children, and avoid direct sunlight, keeping it in a cool, dry place. Additionally, to prevent misuse of the medication and maintain its quality, it is important not to transfer it to another container.
