In patients with digestive tract ulcers infected with Helicobacter pylori, it enhances treatment effectiveness when used in conjunction with antibiotics. Finally, it is used in the treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, helping to improve various gastrointestinal diseases.
For gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers: 10 mg is administered orally once a day. Depending on the symptoms, 20 mg may be administered orally once a day. Treatment duration is up to 8 weeks for gastric ulcers and up to 6 weeks for duodenal ulcers. For erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: 10 mg or 20 mg is administered orally once a day for 4 to 8 weeks. If symptoms persist after 8 weeks, an additional 8 weeks of 10 mg or 20 mg may be given.
