Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers and gastroesophageal reflux disease, improvement of gastric mucosal lesions
This medication is used to treat conditions such as ulcers occurring in the stomach and duodenum, gastroesophageal reflux disease, recurrent ulcers, surgical anastomotic ulcers, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It also improves gastric mucosal lesions such as erosion, bleeding, redness, and swelling that occur during acute exacerbations of acute or chronic gastritis. This drug effectively alleviates inflammation and damage in the gastrointestinal tract, helping to improve patients' symptoms and enhance digestive health. Therefore, it is widely used for the treatment and symptom improvement of various gastric-related diseases.
As cimetidine, administrate 400 mg orally twice a day (in the morning and at bedtime) or 800 mg once a day at bedtime. Additionally, administer 300 mg orally four times a day (after meals and at bedtime), and it can be increased up to 1.6 g total with doses of 400 mg orally four times a day (after meals and at bedtime). For acute gastritis and acute exacerbation of chronic gastritis, administer 200 mg twice a day or 400 mg once a day.
Administered orally divided at a dose of 20–40 mg per kg of body weight per day.
