Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and neonate if taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. It should not be administered to those who are allergic to this medication or components of similar classes, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, nursing mothers, patients with severe renal or liver impairment, and those with certain heart diseases. Patients with low sodium or fluid levels in the body should correct their status before taking this medication, and if hypotension occurs, they should lie down immediately and receive intravenous therapy if necessary. Those with high potassium levels or taking potassium supplements should frequently monitor potassium levels. Patients with renal vascular issues, kidney transplant recipients, or a history of angioedema should exercise particular caution when taking this medication. Patients with heart failure or those recovering from a myocardial infarction should frequently monitor renal function and blood pressure when taking this medication. Caution is also warranted for patients with acute myocardial infarction or certain valvular heart diseases. When taken with other antihypertensive medications, this medication may increase the risk of hypotension, worsening renal function, or hyperkalemia, so regular blood pressure and laboratory tests are required as per doctor's guidance. Dizziness or fatigue may occur while driving or operating machinery; caution is advised. Overdose may lead to hypotension and cardiac dysfunction, so immediate medical attention is required if symptoms occur. This medication is not recommended for children under the age of 18, as its safety and efficacy have not been established.
