Improvement of ischemic heart disease due to hypertension and coronary artery disease (stable and variant angina) and reduction in the risk of hospitalization due to angina
This medication is used to treat hypertension and ischemic heart disease caused by stable and variant angina. It also helps reduce the risk of hospitalization due to angina in patients recently diagnosed with coronary artery disease through angiography, provided they have no heart failure and an ejection fraction of 40% or more. Consequently, it effectively manages various symptoms and risks of cardiovascular disease, improving the heart health of patients.
Adults: Take 5 mg orally once daily as amlodipine and can increase up to a maximum of 10 mg daily depending on the patient's response. Adjust appropriately according to age and symptoms.
