How to take

Adult dose

Take 1 tablet once a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia, patients with sarcoidosis, a systemic inflammatory disease of unknown origin, and patients with kidney disease. Additionally, individuals allergic to this medication or any of its ingredients, infants under 12 months, patients with kidney stones, severe renal failure patients, and those allergic to soybean oil, beans, or peanuts should avoid using it. During the course of treatment, it is advisable to avoid concurrent use with medications like phosphate, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, and antacids. Children under 1 year of age, patients under medical treatment, children who receive adequate sunlight and have normal diets, pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, breastfeeding women, premature infants, and infants should consult a specialist before use. Patients with heart or circulatory problems, kidney disorders, or hypoproteinemia, as well as those taking cardiac glycosides or with a history of kidney stones should also be cautious. Additionally, this medication contains a colorant called Yellow No. 4, so individuals allergic to this component should use it cautiously. Patients with lipid metabolism disorders, such as hyperlipidemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, or pancreatitis, should be careful when taking this medication. If nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, hypotension, flushing, irregular heartbeat, or skin rashes occur during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Overdose may cause gastrointestinal disturbances, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema, so caution is required. Long-term usage may lead to hypercalcemia or the formation of stones, so regular check-ups are essential. Additionally, concomitant use with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene may elevate serum potassium levels, so caution is necessary. Adherence to the prescribed dosage is important, and when administering to children, it should be done under parental supervision. It is advisable to avoid drinking tannin-containing teas, such as green tea or black tea, before and after taking this medication. Patients at risk of fat overload should periodically monitor their serum lipid levels and adjust dosage as needed. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and kept in a cool, dry place in a tightly sealed container.
