This medication is used for the improvement of wound tissue, particularly hypertrophic and keloidal scars, acne scars, and surgical scars after treatment. It is effective in reducing scar formation at the wound site and helps in the regeneration of the skin to improve the appearance of scars. Therefore, it is helpful for the management of scars that occur after surgery or trauma.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Adults: Apply once a day to the wound and surrounding skin and gently massage. For hypertrophic scars, it can be applied thickly the night before and secured with a bandage for a full evening application.

Children's dosage

Children over 2 years: Apply once a day to the wound and surrounding skin and gently massage.

Precautions

This medicine should not be used by individuals who are allergic to any of its components. It is safe not to use this medication on infants under 6 months old. Individuals who experience allergic reactions to heparin, have easy bleeding, or have low platelet counts should not use this medication. This medication should not be applied to areas where the wound is incised or not completely healed. It should also be avoided on mucous membranes or infected areas with pus.
