Relief of pain from rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis)
This medication is used for inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis), and periarticular inflammation around the shoulder. It is also effective for the relief of pain caused by low back pain, sciatica, and non-articular rheumatism. It helps reduce pain and inflammation in multiple joints and muscles, thereby improving patients' daily lives. Overall, it is used to treat inflammation and pain in joints and muscles to provide comfort.
Adults: Take 200 mg of aceclofenac once daily. Do not chew or crush the tablet; swallow it whole. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions of this medication, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.
This medication should be used with caution in individuals who drink more than three glasses of alcohol regularly; they should consult a physician or pharmacist. Taking this medication with alcohol may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. This medication may increase the risk of cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases, so patients with cardiovascular risk factors should carefully consider whether to take it. It is also recommended to use the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration possible. Serious gastrointestinal issues such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation may occur, especially in elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases; caution is required. If symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding occur during use, immediate consultation with healthcare professionals is essential. Patients with active digestive ulcers or bleeding, those allergic to this or similar medications, asthma patients, heart failure patients, those with severe kidney or liver diseases, and pregnant women in late pregnancy should not take this medication. Patients with impaired kidney function, heart failure, hypertension, liver disease, etc., should take this medication cautiously, and their condition should be monitored regularly during treatment. This medication may cause various side effects such as dizziness, liver function abnormalities, skin rashes, etc.; if any abnormal symptoms occur, immediate medical attention should be sought. Before taking this medication, one must consult a physician or pharmacist regarding possible interactions with other medications, especially if taking blood pressure medications, diuretics, anticoagulants, or antidiabetic drugs.
