How to take

Precautions

This medication may cause excessive lowering of blood pressure if taken with nitrate compounds or NO donors. Therefore, you must inform your doctor if you have taken such medications. Patients with cardiovascular diseases should closely check their heart condition before using this medication, and patients with poor cardiovascular status are advised not to use it due to potential strain on the heart. This drug can temporarily lower blood pressure by dilating blood vessels, so careful evaluation is necessary, especially for patients with cardiovascular conditions. Patients who had serious arrhythmias, heart failure, unstable angina, hypotension or hypertension, or pigmentary retinopathy within the last six months should be cautious as the safety and efficacy of this drug is uncertain. If an erection lasts longer than 4 hours, seek immediate medical attention, as untreated cases can lead to penile tissue damage and permanent loss of erectile function. Patients with specific heart conditions or impaired blood pressure regulation may be sensitive to the vasodilating effects of this medication, requiring careful use. Patients currently taking certain medications like Ritonavir may experience a significant increase in the blood concentration of this drug, necessitating dosage adjustments. The artificial sweetener aspartame contained in this product is not suitable for patients with phenylketonuria, so those with this condition should not take it. Patients with allergies to this medication or its components, those regularly taking nitrate preparations, patients with cardiovascular conditions where sexual activity is not recommended, patients with severe liver failure, those with low or uncontrolled high blood pressure, recent histories of serious cerebrovascular conditions, patients with pigmentary retinopathy, individuals taking other erectile dysfunction treatments, minors under 18, and women should not use this medication. Caution is required for patients with penile deformities, bleeding disorders, the elderly, those with renal or liver failure, and patients on CYP3A4 inhibitors; starting with a lower dose is advisable. When taking this medication, side effects such as headaches, facial flushing, dyspepsia, nasal congestion, dizziness, visual disturbances, and more may occur; consult a doctor if symptoms are severe. Caution is also necessary when driving or operating machinery, as dizziness or visual disturbances may occur. When taken in conjunction with alpha-blockers, sudden drops in blood pressure may happen, so it is advisable to take them at spaced intervals, and starting with a lower dose when using it for the first time is recommended. Combining this medication with other erectile dysfunction treatments or certain pulmonary arterial hypertension treatments is not recommended. If sudden vision loss or hearing impairment occurs while taking this medication, stop immediately and consult a doctor. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not take this medication, and children under 18 should also refrain from use. Excessive dosing may lead to worsened side effects, so adherence to the recommended dosage is important. In cases of overdose, contact a healthcare facility for appropriate treatment. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and should not be transferred to another container for safety.
