This drug is for external use only and should never be ingested or injected. If accidentally ingested, the stomach should be washed out using milk or eggs and appropriate treatment should be sought. It can cause severe corneal damage if it comes into contact with the eyes, so care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes, and if it does get in, wash the eyes thoroughly with clean water immediately. Be careful not to use this drug over large areas for extended periods or to inhale vapors, and using soap may reduce the antimicrobial effect, so be sure to rinse thoroughly before use.
