How to take

Adult dose

This medication is to be administered orally without regard to meals, divided into two doses daily. 1. Neuropathic Pain - Peripheral neuropathic pain: initial dose of 150 mg daily, may be increased to 300 mg daily 3 to 7 days later, and may be increased up to a maximum of 600 mg at 7-day intervals if necessary. - Central neuropathic pain: initial dose of 150 mg daily, may be increased to 300 mg daily after 1 week.

Child dose

Precautions

This medication may increase the risk of suicidal thoughts or behaviors, so patients should immediately inform their healthcare provider of any changes in mood or behavior during treatment.
