This medication is used to improve dryness in the throat (pharynx) and mouth (oral cavity).

Dosage and Administration

Apply an appropriate amount several times a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who are allergic to this medication or any of its ingredients. Especially those with egg white allergies should avoid using it. This medication contains an ingredient called propylene glycol, so anyone with a history of allergy or hypersensitivity to this ingredient must consult their doctor or pharmacist before use. Additionally, individuals with atopic dermatitis, bronchial asthma, drug allergies, plant allergies, and other allergic predispositions should exercise caution. If a family member has experienced allergic symptoms, it is advisable to consult a professional before using this medication. Those who have previously had allergic reactions such as fever, rash, joint pain, asthma, or itching due to medications or eggs should also be cautious. If serious reactions occur while using this medication, such as facial pallor, cold extremities, drop in blood pressure, or loss of consciousness, usage should be stopped immediately and a professional consulted. If hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rash or redness occur, stop taking the medication and seek medical attention. If gastrointestinal symptoms like diarrhea, loss of appetite, stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, or stomatitis arise, stop using the medication and consult a professional. Serious conditions like Stevens-Johnson syndrome or toxic epidermal necrolysis may occur; if symptoms like fever, rash, itching, or abnormalities in the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat develop, consult medical personnel immediately. This medication should not be used in the eyes and care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes. Store this medication in a secure location out of reach of children. Transferring the medication from its original container to another may pose risks of misuse or degradation, so it must be stored in the original container with the lid tightly closed.
