This medication is used as adjunctive therapy for gingivitis and mild to moderate periodontitis after periodontal treatment. It helps alleviate inflammation associated with gum diseases such as gingivitis and periodontitis, and helps prevent the worsening of symptoms. This adjunctive therapy contributes to increasing treatment efficacy and maintaining gum health, having a positive impact on patients' recovery of gum condition.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults should take 1 capsule 3 times a day after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by children under 15 years of age. Before taking this medication, it is essential to consult a healthcare professional if there has been a history of allergic reactions, if other medications are being taken, or if currently receiving treatment from a physician or dentist. Additionally, those with a family history of allergies, or who have had allergic reactions to the ingredient Tartrazine included in this medication, should use it cautiously. If symptoms such as skin rash, redness, diarrhea, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, or oral inflammation occur after taking this medication, use should be stopped immediately and a healthcare professional consulted. In particular, serious symptoms such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome or toxic epidermal necrolysis may occur; thus, any abnormal symptoms such as fever, erythema, itching, or inflammation of the mouth and throat must be reported to a professional immediately. If symptoms do not improve even after more than one month of taking the medication, it should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and frequency, and long-term continuous use is not recommended. Storage should be in a secure place out of reach of children, and kept in the original container with the cap tightly closed. Transferring to another container may compromise the quality of the medication or pose a risk of misuse.
