Treatment of allergic (eczema, contact dermatitis, etc.) and inflammatory skin diseases and first-degree burns
This medication is used for the treatment of allergic or inflammatory skin diseases with secondary infections, such as eczema, contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, photodermatitis, chronic simple chilblains, abrasions, desquamative dermatitis, itching, and psoriasis. It is also effective for the treatment of first-degree burns. Therefore, this medication helps to alleviate various symptoms of skin inflammation and infection and improve skin condition.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area once to three times a day.
This medication should not be used in patients with skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals, as symptoms may worsen. Additionally, individuals allergic to this medication or its components should avoid use. Patients with eczematous otitis externa with a perforated eardrum, ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite should be cautious, as healing may be delayed. It is also advisable not to use this medication for perioral dermatitis or common acne. Patients with hypersensitivity to specific antibiotics may experience allergic reactions when using this medication and should avoid it. Patients allergic to or sensitive to propylene glycol should use it cautiously. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, and children should consult a specialist before use. If any abnormal reactions such as symptoms of skin infection or irritation, rash, itching, redness, skin dryness, exacerbation of acne occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Long-term use may cause side effects such as skin atrophy, capillary dilation, pigmentation changes, so it may be necessary to gradually reduce the dose or switch to a non-corticosteroid medication. This medication may cause systemic steroid side effects, so caution is needed when used extensively or with occlusive dressings. When used around the eyes, care should be taken as it may increase intraocular pressure or risk of glaucoma, and prolonged use may lead to visual abnormalities. Patients with impaired kidney function or hearing disorders should avoid long-term use. The prescribed dosage and dosage must be strictly followed, and special supervision is required when used for children. Long-term or excessive use may cause systemic side effects such as adrenal function suppression, Cushing's syndrome, and hyperglycemia, so regular check-ups are necessary. It is advisable to discontinue use as soon as possible when symptoms improve, and if symptoms do not improve or worsen, stop use and consult a specialist. The occlusive dressing should not be used without the doctor's instructions, and this medication should not be used orally and should not be used for purposes other than treatment. Keep out of the reach of children and store in the original container.
