This medication is used to effectively lower blood pressure in patients with hypertension who do not achieve sufficient control with monotherapy.

How to take

Adult dose

Precautions

Hives, angioedema (swelling of lips and eyelids and facial rash), angioedema (swelling of the larynx/epiglottis causing airway obstruction, swelling of the face/lips/pharynx/tongue), vasculitis (including Henoch-Schönlein purpura), anaphylaxis, severe swelling (edema), thrombocytopenia, severe rash with high fever, blistering, skin peeling, pain in oral/eye mucosa, skin-mucosal syndrome (Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis)
