This medication is used for patients who need to take both amlodipine and atorvastatin. Amlodipine improves cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension and angina, and helps reduce the risk of hospitalization and vascular revascularization in patients with coronary heart disease. Nursing mothers should also discontinue breastfeeding while taking this medication. This medication interacts with many other drugs, so especially if taking drugs metabolized in the liver or certain antibiotics, antifungals, immunosuppressants, etc., it is essential to inform the physician. Dosing adjustments or monitoring may be needed when combined with other medications. In case of overdose, hypotension, arrhythmias, and in severe cases, shock may occur, requiring immediate emergency treatment. This medication is not removed by kidney dialysis, so special treatment may be necessary in case of overdose.
