Improvement of blood sugar control in type 2 diabetes
This medicine is used to enhance blood sugar control in patients with type 2 diabetes, as an adjunct to dietary and exercise regimens. It can be administered as monotherapy, and in cases where adequate blood sugar control is not achieved with oral hypoglycemic agents, it can be used in conjunction with insulin.
