Precautions

This medication should not be taken by pregnant women or women who may become pregnant. The ingredients in this medication may contract the uterus or congest pelvic organs, increasing the risk of miscarriage or preterm labor. Moreover, breastfeeding women should not take this medication. Some ingredients in this medication can be passed to breast milk and cause diarrhea in infants, so breastfeeding should be avoided or discontinued while taking this medication. Healthy and fit young individuals are also advised not to take this medication. Individuals who sweat very little and have dry skin should not take this medication. Elderly individuals or those receiving treatment for other conditions should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. It is also important for individuals with diarrhea or loose stools, weak stomachs, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, or severe fatigue to consult a professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as loss of appetite, gastric discomfort, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or diarrhea occur while taking this medication, it should be discontinued immediately and a professional should be consulted. Additionally, if symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 days of use, cessation of the medication and consultation with a physician is necessary. This medication is an irritant laxative, and long-term use can lead to tolerance and worsen constipation; thus, it should not be used continuously for more than one week. If a laxative is needed daily, it is necessary to identify and treat the underlying cause of constipation. It is essential to adhere to the prescribed usage and dosage, especially since the effects of the rhubarb component may vary among individuals. When taking this medication with other herbal medicines, care should be taken to avoid overlapping ingredients. This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container, away from direct sunlight and in a cool place with low humidity. After use, it must be sealed for storage. Keep out of reach of children, and avoid transferring the medication to another container, as this can degrade the quality or risk misuse of the drug.
