Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to quinolone antibiotics. During use, there may rarely be shock symptoms such as nausea, limb coldness, and difficulty breathing, so if these symptoms occur, administration should be stopped immediately, and appropriate treatment should be received. Additionally, hypersensitivity responses such as cardiovascular collapse, loss of consciousness, swelling of the face or neck, rashes, and itching may occur, so if these symptoms are present, the use of the drug should be stopped. Various eye-related side effects such as temporary burning or irritation, redness, itching, tearing, and blurred vision may occur, and rarely serious skin disorders such as severe keratitis or Stevens-Johnson syndrome may arise, so if symptoms occur, usage should be stopped immediately. Hearing impairment or other irritative symptoms have also been reported occasionally, so caution is required. If this medication is used for an extended period, there may be a risk of resistant bacteria developing or worsening fungal infections, so it should only be used for the minimum necessary duration, and if a superinfection is suspected, alternative treatment methods should be considered. Particularly in elderly patients or when used with steroids, the risk of inflammation or rupture of tendons such as those in the shoulder, hands, and Achilles tendon may increase, so if pain or inflammation occurs, use should be stopped immediately. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use this medication when the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks, as its safety has not been established; breastfeeding should be discontinued while using this medication. Its safety and efficacy in infants under one year of age have not been proven, so it is preferable not to use it in this age group. This product is only for eye use as an eye drop, and should not be used for other purposes. Care should be taken to avoid the tip of the container touching the eye during administration. To prevent contamination, it is also safest not to use this product communally among multiple individuals. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool place. To maintain quality, it is important not to transfer the product to another container.
