This medication is used to treat gastric and duodenal ulcers and is helpful in alleviating symptoms of erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease, as well as for long-term maintenance therapy. Overall, it is an effective medication for treating various gastrointestinal-related diseases.
For gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers: Typically, adults take 10 mg of Rabeprazole Sodium orally once daily. Depending on symptoms, 20 mg may be taken orally once daily. Treatment lasts up to 8 weeks for gastric ulcers and 6 weeks for duodenal ulcers. For erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: Take 10 mg or 20 mg once daily for 4-8 weeks. If untreated after 8 weeks, additional treatment may be needed.
