Additionally, it is used to improve calcium deficiency states, maintaining bone strength and health. Therefore, the supplementation of Vitamin D and calcium is effective in enhancing skeletal health and preventing related diseases.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 8 and older and adults: Take 2 tablets once daily after meals.

Child dose

Aged 8 and older: Take 2 tablets once daily after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, kidney disease, or those who have allergies to this medication or its components, children under 12 months, kidney stone patients, and those with severe renal failure. During the course of this medication, it is advisable not to take phosphate, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, and antacids. Women who are under treatment, pregnant or may become pregnant, breastfeeding, premature or young infants, those with heart or circulatory problems, kidney disorders, low protein levels, on cardiac glycosides, and those with a history of kidney stones should consult a specialist before taking this medication. If you experience nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, hypotension, flushing, irregular heartbeat, skin rash, etc., during treatment, you should immediately discontinue use and consult a specialist. Overdosage may result in gastrointestinal disturbances, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, edema, etc., and prolonged use may lead to hypercalcemia and stone formation, so caution is necessary. Be especially careful if taking with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene, as it may increase blood potassium levels. If symptoms do not improve even after taking the medication for about a month, it is advisable to consult a specialist. This medication should be taken strictly according to the prescribed dosage, and it is advisable to avoid drinking tannin-containing teas like green tea or black tea before and after taking the medication. When storing, keep out of reach of children and store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, in a sealed container. Additionally, it is important not to transfer to another container to maintain quality.
