Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus if taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. It should not be administered to patients with allergic reactions to this medication or specific kidney diseases, liver dysfunction, or electrolyte imbalances. Patients with certain health conditions such as hypotension, kidney issues, liver disease, diabetes, gout, and the elderly should be particularly cautious when using this medication and should follow a doctor's instructions. Since this medication lowers blood pressure, dizziness or drowsiness may occur when first taken, so caution is necessary when driving or operating machinery. This medication may interact with other drugs, so it's important to consult with a doctor if taking potassium supplements, certain diuretics, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It can increase the sensitivity of the skin to sunlight, which may raise the risk of skin cancer, so sun exposure should be limited, and any changes in the skin should be reported to a physician immediately. In case of overdose, serious symptoms such as hypotension or cardiac arrhythmias may occur, so the prescribed dosage must be adhered to; if unusual symptoms arise, immediate consultation with medical staff is required. This medication is recommended to not be used in children and adolescents due to insufficient experience, and caution is needed when administered to breastfeeding women.
