This medication is used to improve lipid metabolism abnormalities caused by obesity and diabetes or essential hypercholesterolemia.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 3 capsules three times a day, 30 minutes before meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to any of its components. Patients allergic or hypersensitive to soybean oil should also avoid this medication. Patients with hypersensitivity to soybeans or peanuts should avoid this medication. Patients receiving medical treatment should use this medication with caution. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should also be careful when taking this medication. When taken with levodopa, a treatment for Parkinson's disease, the pyridoxine component in this medication may reduce the effectiveness of levodopa, so caution should be exercised when using them together. This medication contains the colorants Tartrazine (Yellow No. 4) and Sunset Yellow FCF (Yellow No. 5), so patients with allergies or hypersensitivity to these ingredients should be cautious. Patients with lipid metabolism disorders, such as hyperlipoproteinemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, or pancreatitis, should use this medication with caution. Taking this medication may cause gastrointestinal symptoms like stomach discomfort, diarrhea, or constipation. Allergic reactions like rashes or redness on the skin may occur. Menstrual cycles may become shorter or blood flow may increase, so if bleeding persists for a long time, consultation with a physician or pharmacist is necessary. Women taking oral contraceptives containing estrogen or patients at risk of thrombotic diseases should definitely consult an expert regarding the vitamin E in this medication. Long-term intake of pyridoxine above 500 mg to 2 g per day may cause nerve abnormalities, so caution is needed. This medication must be taken as prescribed, and if symptoms do not improve after one month of continuous use, consulting an expert is recommended. Patients with lipid metabolism disorders should regularly check their blood lipid levels and adjust the dosage of this medication if necessary.
