Adult dosage

Apply to the affected area once or twice a day.

This medication should not be used in children under 30 months old. It is also advisable to avoid use in areas around the eyes, on skin with eczema or dermatitis from poison ivy, on wounds, or on mucous membranes. Those who have previously experienced allergic reactions such as rash, redness, or itching after using medications or cosmetics should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. Similarly, if the individual or family has a history of allergic predisposition, it is also wise to consult an expert. If the skin is excessively wet or macerated, if receiving any current treatments, or if in the case of children, pregnant women, women who might become pregnant, and breastfeeding women, it is necessary to consult an expert before using this medication. If a rash, redness, itching, or pain occurs on the skin during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Additionally, if symptoms do not improve after 5-6 days of use, it is necessary to seek professional care. When using in children, supervision by an adult is required, and the area of application should be clean and dry before use. The application area should not be heated with heaters or electric blankets, and it is advisable to remove the patch 30 minutes to 1 hour before bathing. Avoid applying the patch immediately after a bath to reduce skin irritation. For those with sensitive skin, it is recommended to apply a small size of the patch on the inside of the arm and check for reactions for over 12 hours before use, especially in cases of sensitive skin, avoiding continuous application to the same area. This medication is for external use only, and the prescribed dosage and method should be strictly followed. Excessive absorption of methyl salicylate through the skin may lead to toxicity, so avoid using it on large areas for prolonged periods. When storing, keep the medication in a tightly closed container away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place that is out of reach of children. Transferring the medication to another container may cause misuse or changes in quality, so it should not be done. Unused medication should be kept in its original packaging, and expired products must never be used.
