This medication is used to relieve heartburn and discomfort in the upper stomach due to excess stomach acid, as well as feelings of bloating and indigestion. It also helps improve symptoms associated with functional dyspepsia, such as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, belching, and loss of appetite. It is effectively used when digestion is poor after overeating. This drug helps to generally alleviate uncomfortable symptoms of the stomach.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults: 2 tablets per dose, taken 3 times daily. The dosing interval should be at least 4 hours.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients undergoing dialysis treatment. Additionally, women who are breastfeeding should refrain from using this medication as it may be passed into breast milk and could increase the baby's heart rate. Children under 7 years of age should not use this medication. While taking this medication, do not take stomach pain relievers, antispasmodics, or tetracycline antibiotics together, as this medication may interact with other drugs. This medication contains the dye Yellow No. 5, so patients with allergies or hypersensitivity reactions to this ingredient should use it with caution. Before taking, those with allergy symptoms (rash, skin redness, itching, etc.) or kidney function issues, individuals with a family history of allergies, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, and people currently taking other medications should consult with a physician or pharmacist. If allergic symptoms occur or if there are symptoms such as dry mouth, constipation, or diarrhea during use, discontinue the medication immediately and consult a professional. Additionally, if symptoms do not improve after two weeks of use, consult a doctor.
