This medication is used for initial obese patients who do not respond to proper dietary and exercise therapy, specifically those with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or higher or exogenous obese patients with a BMI of 27 or higher with risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes, or hyperlipidemia. This medication should be used alone without combining with other appetite suppressants, and the appropriate dosage should be determined based on the patient’s Body Mass Index. Therefore, it is effectively used for the treatment of obesity and weight loss.

Use the lowest effective dose, adjusting the dose individually to achieve an adequate response.
