Do not use this medication if you are allergic to any of its components, are under 12 months of age, or have certain iron metabolism disorders. Additionally, patients who have excess iron or certain types of anemia, and those with liver or pancreatic issues should not take this medication. While taking this medication, it is advised not to take it with medications such as phosphates, calcium salts, some antibiotics, and antacids, and to avoid beverages containing tannins like green tea or black tea, as well as milk and dairy products. In particular, teenagers over 12 years old should take it under adult supervision, and if symptoms do not improve, they should consult a doctor.
