This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as constipation and the associated loss of appetite, abdominal bloating, intestinal fermentation issues, and hemorrhoids.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and above: 1 tablet per dose, 3 times a day before meals (between meals or after meals). The interval between doses should be at least 4 hours. Start with the minimum dose and adjust gradually while monitoring the shape and condition of the stool.

Child dose

Ages 11 to under 15: 1 tablet per dose, 2 times a day before meals (between meals or after meals). The interval between doses should be at least 4 hours. Start with the minimum dose and observe the shape of the stool.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal diseases or bowel obstruction, and children under the age of 7. Additionally, since this medication contains lactose, patients with hereditary issues such as galactose intolerance, lactose deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should also avoid it. It is recommended not to take antacids or milk while on this medication, and maintain a minimum interval of 1 hour. Patients experiencing severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, patients with renal impairment, or those taking other medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist without fail. Furthermore, individuals with a history of rectal bleeding or bowel obstruction should also consult a professional before taking this medication. This medication contains a dye called Yellow No. 5; individuals with an allergy or sensitivity to this component should exercise caution. If you experience unusual symptoms such as skin rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. If abdominal discomfort or cramps occur, or if constipation does not improve after one week of use, you should also discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and method, and should be administered to children under adult supervision. Long-term use may lead to the development of tolerance or may worsen constipation, so it is advisable not to continue taking it for more than one week. If you need to take a laxative daily, it is important to investigate the underlying cause of the constipation.
