This medication is used to relieve gastrointestinal problems such as stomach pain, heartburn, dyspepsia, and nausea.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults (15 years and older, under 80 years) should take 2 tablets at a time, and if symptoms do not improve after more than 5 hours, they may take 2 more tablets. However, do not exceed 2 doses (4 tablets) in one day.

Precautions

This medication should not be administered to patients with blood disorders, renal or liver diseases, gastric or duodenal diseases, asthma, or autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. Patients taking steroids, antibiotics, anticancer drugs, and azole antifungals should also avoid using this medication. Patients with a history of blood abnormalities such as anemia, thrombocytopenia, or leukopenia should avoid this medication. It is also advisable for individuals with a history of allergic reactions to H2 receptor antagonists, those under 15 years old, and seniors over 80 to refrain from using this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should exercise caution when taking this medication, and nursing mothers should particularly stop breastfeeding while taking it. Patients undergoing dialysis treatment should not use this medication. This medication contains lactose and should not be administered to patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders. Patients receiving medical treatment or taking other medications should use this product with caution due to the potential for drug interactions that may cause side effects or reduced efficacy. Individuals with a history of drug allergies and seniors over 65 should also use this medication cautiously. Patients with a sore throat, cough, or high fever are at risk for serious infections and should consult a doctor before taking this medication. Those experiencing unexplained weight loss or persistent abdominal pain should also seek a diagnosis before taking this medication. Individuals allergic to Yellow No. 4 (Tartrazine) present in this medication should be cautious. If allergy symptoms, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, or muscle pain occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist. If symptoms such as chest tightness, pallor, cold extremities, sweating, or difficulty breathing occur, seek medical assistance promptly. If a severe rash, blisters, or mucosal changes occur alongside a high fever, stop taking the medication immediately and seek treatment. If symptoms such as sore throat, fever, fatigue, paleness of the face or eyelids, or easy bruising occur, consult medical professionals immediately. If symptoms of jaundice appear, stop taking the medication right away. If symptoms do not improve after taking this medication for 3 days, it may indicate another condition, and you should stop taking it and consult a physician or pharmacist. Do not use this medication for longer than 2 weeks, and it is advisable not to consume alcohol while taking it. Exceeding the prescribed dosage may be dangerous, so it should be taken strictly according to instructions. This medication may have aggravated side effects when taken with other gastrointestinal medications, so it should not be taken concurrently. Particularly, caution is needed when used with tetracycline antibiotics or certain antimicrobial agents, as it may reduce effectiveness. Pregnant women or nursing mothers should consult healthcare professionals before taking this medication, as its safety has not been established. Its safety for use in children has not been confirmed; therefore, use is not recommended. Seniors over 65 may have significant differences in physical function, thus caution is necessary when taking this medication. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
