How to take

Adult dose

Adults and children aged 12 years and older: administer 10 mg orally once daily. Adjust dosage appropriately based on age and symptoms.

Child dose

Children aged 6-11 years: administer 5 mg once daily.

Precautions

This medication contains lactose and may cause hypersensitivity in children or adolescents who are sensitive to lactose. If diarrhea occurs after taking this medication, consult a doctor immediately. Patients with an allergic reaction to this drug or with severe liver disease should not take this medication. Additionally, patients with congenital lactose intolerance or glucose-galactose malabsorption should also refrain from using this medication. Patients with liver function issues or who have previously experienced liver disease should use this medication cautiously, as there may be a risk of liver function deterioration. Patients with heart rhythm issues or those taking specific medications should consult a professional, as this medication may affect the heart's electrical signals. While taking this medication, various side effects may rarely occur, including heart palpitations, drowsiness, nervousness, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Liver enzyme levels may temporarily rise, and allergic reactions such as skin rash or swelling can occur; if any unusual symptoms develop, contact healthcare professionals immediately. When performing tasks that require alertness, such as driving or operating dangerous machinery, wait until you have confirmed your response to this medication. This medication is not a fast-acting remedy for allergy symptoms and is not suitable for acute allergic reactions. In the treatment of seasonal allergies, it is advisable to start taking the medication before allergy symptoms worsen and to maintain consistent use during the allergy period.
