This medicine is used as an adjunctive treatment for patients with gingivitis and mild to moderate periodontitis after periodontal therapy. How to take

Adult dose

Adults should take 1 capsule three times a day after meals.

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by children under 15 years of age. Additionally, since it contains lactose, people with hereditary lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medicine. Before taking this medicine, one must consult a healthcare professional if they have a history of allergic reactions, are taking other medications, or are under the care of a doctor or dentist. Caution is also needed for those with a family history of allergies before using this medicine. This medicine contains colorants Yellow #5 and Yellow #4, so individuals who are allergic to these ingredients or have had hypersensitive reactions should use it cautiously. If symptoms such as skin rash, redness, diarrhea, loss of appetite, stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, or oral inflammation occur after taking this medicine, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Especially severe skin reactions such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome or toxic epidermal necrolysis may occur, so if fever, rash, itching, or inflammation of the mouth and throat occurs, seek medical attention promptly. Moreover, if symptoms do not improve after one month of use, discontinue the medication and consult a professional. This medicine must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and should not be used for an extended period. It should be stored in a safe place out of the reach of children, in its original container, and the lid must be tightly closed.
